I worked out of the Southampton Blue Duck today and I couldn't resist taking a picture of little Toshi eating a Blue Duck cupcake!

Working on little bows for a Minnie Mouse cake. Red bows with pearls. So cute.

Today was the first cake class I taught at Blue Duck Bakery in Southampton, Basic Roses.

People came from East Hampton in one direction and from Manorville in the other!

They learned how to make very basic roses. I also taught how to make a more detailed rose, a calyx, leaves, how to color gum paste, and we worked a little bit with chocolate and made a chocolate rose!

Here is my new, tiny silicone bow mold. 

I bought it on eBay. It will be perfect for chocolate mini-bows for the tops of cupcakes!
